Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, or IBB for short, is the governmental organisation responsible for the municipal affairs of Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey. 2023 yılı itibariyle İstaç Front-End Development, Software Development, Corporate Website (CMS), alanlarındaki projelerinde Epigra ile çalışmaktadır.
Challenge
Keeping pace with rapid digitalisation and needing to effectively communicate a wide range of services, ISTAC wanted to revamp its website. The aim was to create an interface that is not only visually appealing but also meticulously structured to guide users, stakeholders and the general public through its comprehensive offerings.
Solution Proposal
The proposed solution was a comprehensive website revamp with a clear and intuitive sitemap. All sections were carefully organised to include easy navigation elements, rich media, infographics and easy-to-understand text content. By integrating interactive elements such as infographics, video galleries and an easy-to-navigate communication section, the website was aimed to be the digital epicentre of ISTAC's communication strategy.
Results
Each section of İSTAÇ's redesigned website, from 'About Us' to 'Services', has been prepared using careful structuring and user-centred design principles to ensure clarity and ease of access, and serves as a digital proof of İSTAÇ's commitment to transparent communication and community engagement.
ISTAC, Istanbul's leading environmental management organisation, needed a modern website that would enable citizens to understand their services more effectively and transparently. They chose to collaborate with us to create an interactive and informative platform.
At the start of the project, we conducted a detailed sector and target audience research to gain a full understanding of the wide range of environmental services and activities ISTAC provides. Using this information, we created a modern, accessible and user-friendly website that will enable Istanbul residents and other interested parties to easily explore the organisation's environmental vision, mission and services.
We also developed an in-depth content management strategy to effectively present ISTAC's documents and reports, news and other important information.
As a result, we have created an in-depth platform that reflects Istanbul's leading position in sustainability and environmental innovation, which citizens can easily access and interactively participate in. We are proud to play a key role in ISTAC's digital transformation.
